- Korean pop groups hold first concert in Paris -

 Five South Korean bands(Dong-Bang-Shin-Gi, Girls' Generation, Super Junior, SHINee, f(x)) held a concert on last Friday in Paris. More than 7 thousands people watched a concert. Among them, only 2% were Koreans. Primarily, S.M Entertainment scheduled only 1 concert on 10th of June. But they decided second concert on 11th of June because tickets for 10th concert were sold out in 15minutes. Lee-teuk, a member of Super Junior, said "Through social networking sites such as YouTube, we are getting a popularity from global."

I feel really happy to read this internet article from Korea Herald. Because not only our nation's large company such as Sam-Sung and LG, but also many South Korean singers are becoming popular. Taking this opportunity, I expecte them to be a golbal singer like Billy Joel, Westlife.

Blog Post #8 - Compare and Contrast

 

Sam-Sung vs LG, The 3D TV

 Nowadays, The 3D TV is so popular. I will compare and contrast the 3D TVs made by Sam-Sung and LG.

 First of all, all of products made by both companies have good capacity for 3D screen. Also, people should wear glasses to see all of 3D TV.

 But, performance properties of 3D screen are different. Sam-Sung uses SG(shutter-glass) technology for 3D screen. Sam-sung's sunglasses is a little heavy and it should charge battery often because it need to twinkle.

 LG's technology is different from Sam-Sung. LG uses FPR(film pattern retarder) technology. People who use LG's products don't need to charge the glasses because it doesn't need to twinkle. Also, it's not heavy compared to Sam-Sung's sunglasses. In addition, it has wider view angle than Sam-Sung.

 Personally, I prefer LG's TV. It is cheaper than Sam-Sung's TV and I think that LG's skill is more convenient to watch it.

Blog Post #7 - Compare and contrast : Two Places

The 3rd dormitory VS Bul-Arm dormitory

 I had live in the 3rd dormitory from 2009 to 2010 and now I'm living in Bul-Arm dormitory from 2011. I will compare two dormitory in our university.

 First of all, there are many common things.

 Both 3rd and Bul-Arm dormitory have a good facility such as desk, bed, window, clothes chest, and so on. And they have provided delicious meal. Although they have curfew hour, it's convenient because all of dormitories are in the university.

 But there are some difference things between 3rd and Bul-Arm dormitory.

 The 3rd dormitory can accommodate up to 4 students. It have one bathroom per one room so student can take a shower in their room. But they should spend some money when they use the washing machine.

 In contrast, the Bul-Arm dormitory can accommodate up to 2 students. But only one bathroom is located per one floor so many student use it together. However, they can use the washing machine for free.

 Both 3rd and Bul-Arm dormitory have advantages and disadvantages, but, I prefer to live in Bul-Arm dormitory.

DO NOT Part-time Job.

 While at university, I think that all of students shouldn't part-time job.

 There are 3 reasons that support my opinion.

 First of all, all of students should concentrate on their studies. They don't have to waste their time to get a money because they can earn a lot of money when they are getting a job.

 Secondly, it is possible that you can not only be injured, but also get fatigue. Therefore, it's a bad influence on your own work such as health, study and normal pattern in life.

 Finally, if you can afford the time, you should go to the travel. After getting a job, maybe you don't have enough time to go to the travel. If you don't afford the money, try to borrow money from the bank just a little. When you've got a job, you can pay back easily.

 So, While at university, the most important thing is developing yourself and experiencing various things. Please do not part-time job and spend time wisely.

Part-time Job.

 While at university, I think that all of students must do part-time job.

 There are 3 reasons that support my opinion.

 First of all, students should be financially independent from their parents because they are adult not children. They can realize the worth of money when they earn money by themselves.

 secondly, your responsibility get stronger by doing part-time job.

 Finally, we can learn not only partnership, but also senior-junior relationship. Because we should do work with many people.

 So, if you experience various part-time job, it's helpful when you write application form or get job interview. Also, it will be able to improve yourself.

The worst accident in my life !!

It was happened in the summer of 2008.
I was having a lunch with my friends at the in front of Chungang University.
Suddnely, I got a headache so I went to the Chungang University's Hospital.
After checking my body, the doctor said "You got a discharge of blood from a blood vessel in your head."
After I heard that, I was feared.
I thought that "Should I spend all of my life times in the hospital?"
However, fortunately, it was not a serious illness.
It could be treated and after 3 weeks I was fully recovered form my illness.
It was the worst accident in my life !!

Bung-A-Bang

I think that most of you are already know this place.
It's Bung-A-Bang !
HaHa, that's right. It's pond in our university.
Just few month ago, it had been frozen by cold weather. But now it is melt by warm sunshine.
So, if you look closely at the pond, you can see many small and large fish.

In the middle of pond, we can see the beautiful fountain.
actually, it does not too much colorful but it's a good place to take a rest nearby there.

Every night when I walk through the Bung-A-Bang, I feel jealous

 because many people have a date with their lover.
